US Treasury Chair Janet Yellen made statements regarding the increasing regulatory pressures on the crypto ecosystem.
After the SEC sued Binance and Coinbase, many officials took up the issue and made striking comments. Finally, US Treasury Chairman Jellen stated that he supports the steps taken against crypto companies in the name of protecting investors. He added that new crypto regulations will be positive for the industry. He also stated that they could work with Congress to enact the law, provided that additional legislation is appropriate.

Statement after SEC pressure tightened Janet Yellen took a “pro-regulatory” stance when assessing the events. Addressing current events in her last interview, Yellen expressed her ideas as follows;
“Additional crypto regulation would be appropriate. Some consolidation can be seen in the banking sector. In addition, reducing inflation is one of the most important factors. If we talk about commercial real estate, I think there will be problems. Signs of easing in the job market continue. We will continue to see economic progress in reducing inflation over the next two years. In addition, the US Treasury continues to manage to pay off all its debts.
