Gemini, one of the leading trading platforms in the crypto money industry, continues to expand to take place in the overseas market. The United States-based stock exchange announced that it has decided to increase the number of employees in its Singapore office.
Making a statement on its official blog page, Gemini stated that it will increase the number of employees in Singapore to at least 100. Exchange officials emphasized that they will reach wider audiences in the crypto sector by investing in Asian financial centers. Gemini’s Singapore office will begin operating at full capacity within the next 12 months.
The leading cryptocurrency exchange’s investment in the Asia-Pacific region is not limited to Singapore. Making another announcement in April, the team decided to open a crypto engineering office in India. Wishing to take advantage of the software developer capacity in the country, Gemini is establishing its second largest engineering center in the Asian country.
The Crypto Industry Is Moving Away From The US
Crypto startups operating in the United States are facing police crackdowns. Although there have been sporadic investigations in the past, especially as of the beginning of 2023, institutions such as the SEC and CFTC have officially taken a sword. There is no clear legal ground behind the pressure applied by the USA yet. Organizations that act separately in their heads are specifically targeting crypto exchanges.
