In the lawsuit between the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and Ooki Dao, supporters of the cryptocurrency company were allowed.
Last month, the CFTC filed a lawsuit against Ooki Dao for not being registered with the commission. While the case was pending, the court allowed two groups to defend the cryptocurrency company. LexpunK Army and DeFi Education Fund sided with the crypto company in the infringement lawsuit.
Two New Supporters for Ooki Dao Side
The judge of the court granted online participation in two groups that wanted to support the Ooki Dao side. These two groups will be able to take part in the case through the help bot of a CFTC website.
US District Judge William Orrick granted the request of the LeXpunK Army, a group of lawyers and software developers, and the DeFi Education Fund, a lobbying group. He claimed that court briefings could defend his friends.
Two supporters will be briefing on the lawsuit, which is being filed on the grounds that Ooki Dao’s side has violated the law. The judge gave the LexpunK side until October 17 to give a briefing. The DeFi Education Fund side delivered its briefing to the court.
The briefing of the groups that will support the crypto money company will be heard at the hearing to be held on November 30.
