Brad Sherman was the last person to take a step towards the use of crypto assets in the face of sanctions. The bill dated March 13 is aimed at “imposing sanctions on the use of cryptocurrency for facilitating the transactions of sanctioned Russian persons and for other purposes”. Details about the bill are unknown.
The bill comes after Washington focused on the use of crypto assets in sanctions against Russia. Elizabeth Warren, another name known for being anti-crypto, is also known to be working on a similar bill.
