German automobile giant BMW introduced a car that will fall on the agenda like a bombshell at the CES 2023 events held in Las Vegas. The car, called “i Vision Dee”, seems to be able to win admiration with its interesting design and innovative technologies.

According to BMW, i Vision Dee has a preview of the design language that the company will prefer for electric models it will launch by 2025. In other words, the car you will see shortly will inspire real models in the coming years.

This is exactly what the BMW i Vision Dee looks like

BMW is a brand identified with its kidney grille design. The i Vision Dee, on the other hand, does not have these kidney grilles, at least partially… The front part has an openable structure and the kidney grille is hidden inside that part.

Another striking feature of the vehicle is that it has almost no additional indentations or design lines. The BMW i Vision Dee looks more like a box. There’s a reason for that too. The company has specially calculated the wheelbase and aerodynamics. This increased the interior volume of the vehicle to the maximum level.

You may have noticed that there is no side mirror in the vehicle. BMW i Vision Dee allows peripheral vision thanks to cameras.

The rear of the vehicle is just as minimalist as the front design.

BMW i Vision Dee can change color by itself without applying a single drop of paint

BMW’s electric car has a paint technology called E-Ink. This technology allows the body color of the vehicle to change. Moreover, this coloring can be different in different parts of the vehicle. So you can make the right door different and the left door different color.

BMW i Vision Dee also has a voice assistant. This voice assistant can detect commands and greet the driver. In fact, consumers will be able to create their avatars and identify them to the vehicle. This avatar will be displayed on the vehicle windows when the driver approaches.

No display on front panel but touchpad everywhere

The interior of the BMW i Vision Dee is as minimalist as its exterior. Touch areas are frequently used in the interior, which does not include an indicator and infotainment screen. Vehicle-related settings are managed through these touch areas. So where is the screen?

BMW’s new car has adopted ghost screen technology. The vehicle’s technical information and multimedia system are shown on the ghost screen that appears on the windshield. Consumers will be able to adjust these screens in 4 different levels.

This design you see will appear in electric cars based on the company’s “Neue Klasse” design architecture by 2025. The future of BMW is already exciting.
