The Ukrainian government has decided to sell the ‘timeline’ of the Russia-Ukraine war as NFTs. Ukraine’s Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov, announced the NFT collection on his Twitter account, stating that while Russia uses tanks to destroy Ukraine, they rely on ‘revolutionary blockchain technology’.

All proceeds from the sale of NFTs, which will be used to support the Ukrainian army and civilians, It will be used to create a fund by the Ministry of Digital Transformation to support Ukraine’s military and civilians.
Artifacts in the NFT collection titled “Meta-History: War Museum” are associated with a story about key moments of the war and an artist’s illustration. A total of 54 NFTs are currently listed, covering the first three days of the war, at the end of February, with the first going on sale early next week. NFTs will be sold through the NFT sales platform called Fair.xyz.
Cryptocurrencies played a big role on both sides of the war, but Ukraine in particular has used it to bypass banks and local currency restrictions and also solicit donations. The Ukrainian government announced that it had raised $54 million in cryptocurrencies in the first three weeks.
