A preliminary report, yet to be peer-reviewed, describes the latest steps taken by Ukrainian astronomers to track fast-moving, low-visibility objects in the sky over Kyiv and surrounding villages. The report said it observed dozens of objects “scientifically unidentifiable as known natural phenomena.”
Government agencies use the reference UAP expression of “unidentified weather events”.
“We see them everywhere,” the team says.
“The Ukrainian article is particularly noteworthy because it not only shows that science continued to emerge during the war, but also explains that a large number of observations were made,” Vice comments in its news on the subject.
The researchers divided the UAP observations into two categories: “cosmic” and “ghost”. According to the report, cosmics are objects that are brighter than the background sky. The team wrote that these objects are named after bird names such as “fast,” “hawk,” and “eagle,” and have been observed in “fleets” as well as while flying solo.
Ghosts often appear “all black,” according to the team.
The researchers also observed that the UFOs they saw were very fast and difficult to photograph.
By comparing observations from the two participating observatories, the team estimated that the ghosts were between 3 and 12 meters wide.
WAR TECHNOLOGY?
The researchers did not speculate on what these UFOs might be. Instead, their papers focused on the methods and calculations used to detect objects.
In the 2021 report of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), it was commented that at least some UAPs could be “technology used by China, Russia, or any other country”.
Referring to this comment in the foreign press, it is stated that UFOs may be related to military technologies due to the Russia-Ukraine war.
“The easy explanation might be that these are missiles, rockets, or something else related to war. But scientists insist that their nature is “not clear,” says Vice’s report on the subject.
