Ukraine is seeking support from international volunteers to launch cyberattacks against Russia, according to a tweet by the country’s minister of digital transformation. Mykhailo Fedorov announced in his tweet that he wants to build an “IT army” on Telegram and there will be tasks for everyone.

The relevant Telegram channel had reached more than 200,000 users at the time of the news release. “We urge you to use any cyber and DDoS attack method,” the channel says.
According to a post on the channel, cyberattacks hit Russian government service portals, websites of Kremlin, Parliament, First Channel, Aerospace, Railroad with more than 50 DDoS attacks over one terabyte capacity. The channel also directs members to file a complaint for YouTube channels that post pro-Russian videos to be removed.
The news came after Anonymous announced that it had declared a cyber war against Russia. Anonymous claimed that it hacked Russian state television channels to broadcast the truth about what was happening in Ukraine.
