At midnight connecting February 23 to February 24, Russia began its ‘operation’ in Ukraine, for which it had been preparing for a long time. Thousands of soldiers from both sides have lost their lives in this war, which the Western world sees as an invasion, and which Russia says is to ensure Ukraine’s independence.
