Ukraine continues to collect crypto donations as the Russian occupation continues. The country will also accept donations in Dogecoin, following Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT) and most recently Polkadot (DOT).
The statement was made by the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Mikhalio Fedorov on Twitter. Fedorov used the following expressions in his tweet:
“Dogecoin has exceeded the Russian ruble in value. We are starting to accept donations as meme coin. Now even meme coin can support our army and save lives from Russian invaders”
Fedorov, follow-up Dogecoin creator Billy He also requested support by tagging Markus and Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
Crypto donations to Ukraine are increasing day by day. The country also announced an airdrop for crypto donating wallets. After the announcement, an increase in crypto donations was also observed.
