Information about a new game by Ubisoft, codenamed Project Q, went online yesterday. According to the information received, the company’s new game will be a mixture of Overwatch and Fortnite. According to leaked footage from Project Q, a mode called “Showdown” features four teams of two players fighting to decide the winner. In another game mode called “Battle Zone”, two teams of four players face each other to reach 100 points. Stating that the game, codenamed Project Q, is in the early development phase, Ubisoft stated that the game will continue to be tested for a while. Despite the similarities with games like PUBG and Warzone, Ubisoft insists that Project Q is not a ‘battle royale’. The company, which made an extra tweet to clarify this issue, states that the game has many PvP modes and will only be for ‘fun’ purposes. Ubisoft also announced that it does not plan to add NFT to Project Q.

According to its registration page, the company is developing its new game for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PS5 and PC. Ubisoft stopped the development of Hyper Scape, another battle royale experiment. As of April 28, the game will be said goodbye completely.
