There has been a big development on Twitter this week. Jack Dorsey, the founder of Twitter, handed over his CEO role, which he had been holding for years, to Parag Agrawal, who is the CTO (chief technology officer) of the company. This great change brought with it another great change.

The new CEO, Parag Agrawal, has begun updates on the company’s roster. Many important names in the staff will say goodbye to Twitter by the end of the year.

Staff is largely renewed

In a newly released regulatory document from Twitter, CEO Parag Agrawal is sacking two top executives in order to ‘scramble’ to get a clean start. Consumer, revenue and core technologies departments will be affected by the changes made for accountability, speed and efficiency. These departments will now be headed by Kayvon Beykpour, Bruce Falck and Nick Caldwell, respectively.

These changes will take effect from the beginning of the year. Some found these changes, which were said to increase diversity, as unnecessary and disturbing. Dantley Davis, the company’s former design manager, who recently stepped down and likely in connection with these events, said on Twitter, “I love Twitter and the people here. I am honored to be a part of this journey. ” he said.
