Due to structural problems of the houses or other reasons, the WiFi signals from the modem may not reach every part of the house with sufficient strength. WiFi range extenders are the most widely used products to solve this problem, which is defined as ‘dead zone’. TP-Link, the world’s largest manufacturer of network products, has added two new range extenders to its wide product range. AC supported, dual-band, OneMesh technology, RE230 and RE300 models have different speeds.

RE230 model range extender 750 Mbps in total; The RE300 model, on the other hand, has 1200 Mbps wireless speeds. With these products, which solve the dead zone problem at home, a more efficient network is created with the advantages of new network technologies at the same time. Thanks to dual-band support, applications that require a wider band (such as HD movies, online games) are automatically forwarded to the 5GHz band, while applications such as e-mail and web surfing are directed to the 2.4 GHz band. In this way, every application can be done without any problems; network traffic is distributed. In addition, the RE230 model has a fast Ethernet port. In this way, devices that can be included in the network with a cable can access the network via RE230.

Easy setup, easy Mesh networking

The two new range extenders can easily create a Mesh WiFi network when used with a modem or router that supports TP-Link OneMesh. Thus, an uninterrupted internet is provided in the house with the same network name and password; Benefiting from the advantages of mesh technology.

Both range extenders are extremely simple to install and subsequently control. Products, which are easily paired with a modem/router thanks to the WPS button, are made operational by plugging them into the most suitable socket with the help of the smart signal indicator. With TP-Link’s free Tether application, devices can be controlled from anywhere, access settings, etc., via smartphones.

The recommended sales prices of two new range extenders developed to solve the WiFi dead zone problem in homes are as follows:

–         RE300           : 48 USD (VAT included)
