READING NOW Two new patents from Apple: There is no need for ghost screens anymore!

Apple continues to improve its electronic products. It was revealed that the company, which constantly works on important innovations, has recently received two new patents for Apple and iPhone. These patents turned out to be privacy-focused. Here are the details…

Apple will prevent anyone else from seeing the iPhone and Mac screen!

As you know, high screen brightness levels on iPhone and Mac devices make it easier to see. In other words, it is possible to obtain a more comfortable and clear image. Of course, this brings with it an annoying problem.

High screen brightness may cause people next to you to see what you are doing. This naturally reduces the experience considerably in terms of privacy. Fortunately, Apple seems to provide a solution to this situation with its newly received patents.

According to the latest patents, Apple is developing special privacy films for curved screens for iPhones and Macs. This will focus the screen brightness in a specific direction, towards the user, preventing those sitting next to you from seeing what’s on the screen. Thus, users’ privacy will be further protected.

Currently, screens on iPhones and Macs generally have a viewing angle of up to 170 degrees. However, this angle is expected to narrow with the application of the new patent. In this case, it may be possible for the screen to be visible when viewing the screen directly from behind the user. Because the light is directed in a certain direction, which means the screen can be seen when viewed directly from behind. It is a matter of curiosity how Apple will find a solution to this problem.

The second patent of the technology giant is called “Displays with Adjustable Viewing Angles”. This system will offer users the opportunity to adjust polarization with thin and controllable filters that will be integrated into the screens.

To put it in a slightly simpler language, thanks to these filters, the person looking from the side will see the screen darkened. Maybe you’ve noticed that when you look through a car window from outside, you can’t see the inside of the vehicle clearly. This is how Apple will offer a similar experience.

There is no information about when Apple will apply this patent to iPhone and Mac devices. The company has recently focused on display technology. In this context, we may encounter important innovations in the near future.
