Two banks based in Argentina; Banco Galicia and Brubank have added the cryptocurrency trading feature on their platforms.

Banco Galicia, one of Argentina’s largest private banks, announced that it has added a cryptocurrency trading option to its website. Argentine digital bank Brubank later did the same, adding the ability to trade cryptocurrencies to its platform.

Cryptocurrency Support from Banco Galicia and Brubank

A user on Twitter said that the crypto trading feature of Banco Galicia has been approved. The bank replied to the user “Yes! We are adding new investment options.”

The bank announced on its website that it offers the opportunity to buy Bitcoin (BTC) Ethereum (ETH), USD Coin (USDC) and Ripple (XRP).

A few hours later, Argentina-based digital bank Brubank also announced that it has added cryptocurrency trading functionality to the investment section of its website. Brubank tweeted:

“Yes, we already have crypto! This is a progressively enabled functionality for all of our users. Once you activate it, you will be able to see it by entering ‘Investments’ from the app.”

According to the CryptoNoticias website, Brubank has added USD Coin (USDC) and DAI stablecoins alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum trading.
