Even though the discussions regarding the NFT world continue, social media platforms continue to gain NFT support. NFT integration, which previously came to Facebook and Instagram, is now being tested on Twitter. Twitter will display tweets containing NFT in a more useful way.

Twitter gains NFT support

Acquired by Elon Musk, Twitter has opened its first experimental feature. The social media platform will make it easier to share NFT in any marketplace. NFT links shared as tweets will now be displayed much more prominently.

According to the statement made by Twitter, various expressions will be highlighted in the tweet. As part of the innovation called NFT Tweet Tile, NFT’s name, creator and large photo will be displayed in the tweet.

Thanks to NFT Tweet Tile support, easy access to market places will be provided. A user who sees the tweet will be able to purchase NFT directly or access the marketplace’s collection list.

It should be noted that Twitter is currently collaborating with four marketplaces (Rarible, Solana and Ethereum focused Magic Eden, Dapper Labs and Jump.trade). It is interesting that the largest market, OpenSea, has not yet been included in this integration.

Twitter-supported marketplaces include NFTs that include multiple blockchains such as Solana, Ethereum, Flow, Polygon, and Tezos. This will especially make it easier for NFT artists to market their products on Twitter.

The company said the NFT Tweet Tile integration is rolling out to some users on iOS and the web. He also confirmed that the new feature will not be limited to Blue subscribers. It is unclear when it will be released globally.
