With the new feature published under the name ‘Community Notes’, notes were added under some controversial Tweets, confirming the sharing or explaining the context of the sharing. Twitter has released another innovation that will make this feature more useful.
You’ll be able to receive notifications when a Community Note is added to Tweets you’ve interacted with:
“Starting today, you’ll receive an alert if a Community Note starts appearing on a Tweet you’ve replied to, liked, or retweeted. This will help give people the extra context they might otherwise miss.”
With the new feature, you will have the opportunity to remove your previous interactions with Tweets that contain false or false information. In this way, this information will not be included in your profile and the spread of information will be reduced.
What are Twitter Community Notes?
Twitter Community Notes add context to Tweets that contain phrases that may mislead users. Notes are displayed in a separate box below Tweets. Of course, the appearance of this box does not depend on a single source.
Grades are publicly displayed as a result of a sufficient number of different opinion contributors rated as ‘helpful’.
Who adds and evaluates Community Notes?
Community Notes is run entirely by users. Those who voice their opinions and provide context are Twitter ‘contributors’ to Community Notes. These people, which Twitter accepts with certain criteria, also evaluate the notes shared by different users.
