Twitter Spaces entered our lives in November 2020. The feature, which was first offered to iPhone users, then set foot on Android. The social media company expanded the coverage of Spaces with its update in May. It was made available to accounts with 600 or more followers. But this limit has finally disappeared.
Twitter shared the information that “Spaces has started to be offered to all Android and iOS users” in a statement published on its Support page. You will now be able to create voice rooms on the platform without any follower requirements. Spaces is not yet active on the web version of Twitter. The company continues to work at this point.
How to use Twitter Spaces?
Twitter introduced the Spaces feature in Turkish with the name ‘Chat Rooms’. However, nothing has changed in terms of the working logic. Open the Twitter mobile app on your Android or iOS phone and press and hold the ‘Add Tweet’ button in the lower right corner. Then click on the purple icon among the options. If you are using it for the first time, Twitter will notify you.
When you create Chat Rooms, they are public by default. But the accounts you have blocked cannot participate. However, people who are not logged into Twitter, that is, who view your room anonymously, can listen to your conversation. You can add up to 10 speakers if you wish.
When you create a chat room with Twitter Spaces, your account becomes an administrator. You can either give permission to speak to the person you want among the participants, or you can mute them. In addition, you can remove the accounts you want from the voice room with one click. Twitter puts all the power in your hands.
After creating a Chat Room, you can also add a ‘Helper’ to yourself. Auxiliaries can determine the speaker in the room, etc. have the authority to manage the controls. In addition, it can react to the room; By using the audio converter function, you can have your voice transmitted to the audience with different effects. At any time, the “Mic. Twitter will pay regular money to broadcasters
Twitter recently announced a support fund called the Twitter Spaces Spark Program. He stated that he will pay monthly to those who broadcast regularly through the Spaces platform. The conditions required to participate in the program are listed as follows:

- Broadcasting at least two Spaces per week
Those deemed eligible for the program will receive $500 in Twitter ad credits each month, in addition to the $2,500 support. This fund is not active in Turkey yet. However, in the future, it may spread to our country with its departure from the USA.
