Twitter, which announced that Elon Musk has stopped buying, is laying off many employees from the talent acquisition team after announcing that it will slow down hiring. In line with the reports that emerged, the company dismissed approximately 100 employees.
Twitter is not alone in this
According to reports by The Wall Street Journal, Twitter has cut 30% in its talent acquisition team, which includes recruiters and new hires. In this context, the company laid off nearly 100 employees.
A company spokesperson confirmed the current layoffs, saying that these were preplanned actions.
The disclosures indicate that layoffs are limited to the talent acquisition team only. Twitter isn’t the only company cutting hiring and laying off employees. For some time now, many tech companies have taken similar stances towards rising costs.
