Twitter will allow its users to control who mentions them in posts and replies. The feature, which is still in the testing phase, was announced on the Twitter account of Jane Manchun Wong, who shared about social media platforms. But when the innovation will come is uncertain for now.
Twitter currently allows anyone to mention it, except for people an account has blocked. For this reason, especially content producers and celebrities have to constantly receive notifications in this way.
