While users are trying to get used to Twitter being X, it was announced that an important change will come from Musk today. The billionaire businessman announced that the platform will now be used with a single view.
Twitter will now only be used in dark mode
As it is known, Twitter can be used in both light mode and dark mode. While the light mode offers a more white-weighted look to the platform, the dark mode offers an appearance dominated by dark colors.
Elon Musk stated on Twitter that the dark mode will now be the only mode on Twitter. “The platform will soon only have a “dark mode,” Musk said in a statement. This is all the better.” The famous billionaire said that black teak is better than blue teak; but it came in response to a tweet from a user who said it wouldn’t work in dark mode.
Dark mode is more liked by users in general. While this mode makes it less difficult for users in dark environments, it does not tire the eyes. It is also known to benefit the battery life of the devices. Of course, the bright mode also has advantages such as showing the information more clearly.
While there are no details on when Twitter will go into dark mode entirely, Musk says it will happen soon.
