Shock office move from Twitter
In order to avoid paying more rent, the second largest office in Seattle, known as the engineering center, was closed. While the rental agreement was canceled, employees were asked to continue their work from home due to the eviction situation.
The Seattle office, which has been operating since 2012, lost 208 employees with the arrival of Elon Musk. After the decrease in the number of employees, it was decided to close the office.
Elon Musk has canceled the usual work from home and even brought beds to its San Francisco headquarters. Seattle employees seem to continue to work from home for now, as it is not possible to rent a new workplace in this area.
