Social media platform Twitter has started expanding its crypto price index with more than 30 newly added cryptocurrencies.
Twitter, where cryptocurrencies are the most active and easiest to promote, is making various moves to have a greater say in the crypto space. Acquired by Elon Musk, the company has started to become a more crypto-heavy medium. NFT-supported profile photos, donations, coins integration and crypto price index were his outstanding works. Finally, the social media giant included 30 different cryptocurrencies in the crypto price index it launched last month.
Cryptocurrency Tracking on Twitter Made Easy
Social media giant Twitter aims to make it easier to follow cryptocurrencies with its developments within the platform. The company, which launched the crypto price index with Bitcoin and Ethereum on December 21, added 30 different cryptocurrencies to this feature.
This new addition came as part of the Cashtags feature, which the social media giant has focused heavily on. Crypto symbols written by bringing the dollar sign in front of the platform’s search place reduce the graphic price for these symbols to the result screen.
Added cryptocurrencies include major coins such as USDT, XRP, ADA, SOL, MATIC, AVAX, LTC. According to the latest data, the coins in the plugin have been drawn from the top 50 by market cap.
