Billionaire businessman Elon Musk’s only agenda lately is to rebrand Twitter as X. As such, work continues on all sides. In this context; X’s logo was announced recently. In addition, users who entered Twitter began to see the X emphasis more. Of course, while all this is happening in the digital environment, work continues at Twitter’s headquarters in the USA.
Elon Musk also took action to remove the logo on the Twitter headquarters building. It was requested to remove the logo on the outside of the building with the called crane. However, this attempt resulted in police intervention. The officers who left the job unfinished could not remove the logo. The Twitter headquarters building now only has the phrase “er”. So what happened that Elon Musk and US law enforcement officers came face to face? Why was logo removal interrupted?
With the crane gone, the Twitter headquarters building remained like this:
There was no clear explanation as to why the police came to Twitter’s headquarters. But, according to a conversation between the San Francisco local press and law enforcement, the crux of the matter was unauthorized street closures. According to the information obtained from the law enforcement officers, the crane had blocked the road without obtaining permission. On the other hand; It is also among the statements made by the law enforcement authorities that the owner of the property was not informed that the Twitter logo would be removed.
By the way, there was no statement from Elon Musk on the subject. However, the problem is expected to be resolved in a short time. Elon Musk and his team will complete the aborted dismantling of the logo after both obtaining permission for the crane and informing the property owner. Let’s just say it’s all just a matter of time.
