Twitter barrier council is being established
Elon Musk announced in a statement that a council will be established to open banned accounts. This council will examine the ban decisions from different aspects and decide to open them if necessary. No action will be taken against any account without the approval of the Council.
There was an expectation that Musk would make Twitter a very free space when he fired the policy chief who had Trump banned, but the famous name did not risk it. Council already means some time has passed. So Musk doesn’t want to take a step right away. Because the negativities to be experienced in the social network can give Musk a headache, including the courts, of course. In other words, Elon Musk may have to continue the moderation policies that he criticized before.
