The Twitter ban of Stani Kulichov, founder of Aave (AAVE), was lifted after 15 hours.
Kulechov said the other day that he could become Twitter’s interim CEO, and then his account was suspended. Twitter management did not take this joke of Kulichov very well.
Kulechov’s Twitter account was reactivated after 15 hours of restriction. “I am back as interim CEO of Twitter” was the first tweet of the Aave CEO.
Kulechov said, “Elon Musk said he believes Twitter should be an unregulated global city center and Twitter has long been proud to be the “arbitrator” of free speech,” he said. But if that were the case, Twitter would be a public-controlled entity, not a centralized power.
Kulechov established a decentralized social media ecosystem called Lens Protocol due to these problems in Twitter.
“A user must have full ownership over their content. This means that no central entity can take it away from you. With the applications supported by Lens, if you don’t like the policy of a platform, you have the chance to move your profile to another place”
Twitter’s decision to ban Kulechov received a great reaction in these days when the freedom of expression debates came to the fore.
