Twitch, which was born as a live broadcasting platform where the players come together, but where the game is thrown into the background today, came to the fore again with a reactionary event today. Many famous Twitch publishers, including HasanAbi, who are followed by tens of thousands, announced that another Twitch streamer defrauded them.
According to the statements made by the publishers on their social media accounts and broadcasts, ItsSliker has started asking famous publishers for money to find additional financing to continue their gambling addiction. Moreover, the publisher also lied that his bank accounts were frozen, he could not pay his bills and would be helpless if he did not find money.
He ‘borrowed’ tens of thousands of dollars from publishers:

The fraud of the British publisher was first revealed by the shares of the American publisher Lacari on Twitter. Sharing a screenshot of a conversation he had with Sliker on Discord in 2021, Lacari told Sliker, “Search for help, you obviously have a serious problem and I hope this is a wake-up call for you.” used his statements.
In the aforementioned screenshots, Sliker was asking Lacari to borrow $1000 with the same lies. Lacari had sent the money he wanted in response to Sliker’s loan request in 2021. A year later, Sliker said he had repaid his debt. But the money never reached Lacari. Sliker claimed that he had sent the money and that it was no longer in his bank account.
Giant publishers who saw this Tweet began to explain that they encountered a similar situation. Some of these publishers claimed that they lost huge amounts of money. ‘lukeafkfan’ said that he lent money such as 27 thousand dollars and Trainwrechstv 45 thousand dollars to Sliker and could not get it back. One of Twitch’s most popular names, xQc, also stated that he received a similar request from Sliker, but never made a loan.
Sliker started confessing as the incident came to light:
On September 17, Sliker began to admit the situation in his broadcast on Twitch. Saying that he borrowed money from many publishers, the publisher said, “I lied to a lot of people.” used his statements. “I finally discovered that I can gamble for money,” the publisher said, saying that gambling addiction was born from skin bets in CS:GO. he said.
Streamers have started a boycott on Twitch:
After all these events, giant publishers, including popular names such as Pokimane and Mizkif, started a boycott against Twitch. The publishers stressed that gambling on the platform should be banned. On the other hand, the irony of the matter is that, according to some publishers, the publishers who made this call did not participate in other calls to ban gambling and remained silent.
