Twitch is testing a new feature to give users a better experience. The new feature, called Channel Switcher, shows previews of a number of different streams that users can choose from to watch.
The test will end this month.
The Channel Switcher feature allows users to view channel previews at the bottom of the screen without any advertisements. Thanks to the 60-second preview, users will be able to more easily understand whether they like a particular channel or not.
Alongside the Channel Switcher, Twitch also launched the Guest Star, which allows up to five guests to join a host in one stream.
The Channel Switcher feature is currently being tested with select Twitch users. The platform will end the test this month and analyze the feedback it receives. It is not yet known whether the feature will be available in a stable version.
