Twilight, adapted from four novels in the romantic/fantasy genre by the US writer Stephenie Meyer, has managed to become one of the most popular movie series in history with its 5 movies. The series, whose last film debuted in 2012, has earned over three billion dollars worldwide. Now, there is news that will make the fans of the series happy.

According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter (THR) based on sources close to the subject, the production company Lionsgate, which holds the rights of Twilight, has started working on a series of the series.

It is not yet clear on which platform the Twilight series will be broadcast.

According to sources, the Twilight drama, which is unknown when it will debut, is currently in its very early stages. There is no agreement with any platform for the broadcast of the series yet. THR says Lionsgate’s first goal is to find a writer for production before signing up with a platform.

Apart from these, it is among the information that Stephenie Meyer, the author of the books, will be included in the series. It should be noted that we will see Eric Feig, one of the Lionsgate executives who played a role in the purchase of the rights of Twitlight years ago, and Wyck Godfrey, one of the producers of the films, as producers in the series.
