For its Advanced Safe Browsing feature, which has been visible to users for a while, Google states that it provides “real-time” security scanning to warn users about malicious websites, software, and extensions. Google adds that it gives users “better protection” against dangerous links in Google apps.
With the proliferation of free-to-use productive artificial intelligence platforms, scammers are now able to create highly persuasive emails, including via Gmail. You can activate the Advanced Safe Browsing feature for your account by following the steps below. Meanwhile, Google also notes that it may take up to 24 hours for the setting to kick in:- Go to your Google Account
- Select Security on the left
- Go to “Advanced Safe Browsing for your account”
- Select Manage Advanced Safe Browsing
- Turn Advanced Safe Browsing on or off
