While Apple has started to prepare for its new products, of course, it looks into the hands of its suppliers in the hardware part of the business. Apple’s M3 and A17 chips are expected to launch in 2023 for iPhone, iPad and Macs. At this point, the company working with TSMC will switch to 3nm architecture this year.

TSMC has announced that it will start production of Apple’s 3nm chips in the 2nd half of 2022. Major chip maker TSMC aims to start production of 3 nm chips later this year, while reports indicate that it is ready to produce 30,000 to 35,000 units. While

3nm chips will make the necessary contribution to better performance and better battery life, the idea that these chips can have 40 cores is also very appealing. Because Apple’s M1 chip currently has 8 cores, while the M1 Pro and M1 Max have 10 cores.

Apple’s first device with the new 3nm chipset is expected to be a new iPad. While no model name is specified, we can expect to see these new chips in the next iPad generation. These new processors will appear in other products later on.
