Former president of the USA, Donald Trump, was directed to establish his own social media platform. Making a statement yesterday, the former president announced that they have started to establish the platform called Truth Social. But just hours later, the new social network was hacked.
The billionaire businessman and politician faced several obstacles after the congress raid on January 6. Twitter, Facebook and YouTube suspended Trump’s accounts. But the former president feels he has been wronged by stating that the Taliban are active on Twitter.
Trump mocked the social media network
Its network, Truth Social, is a partnership between Trump Media and Technology Group and Digital World Acquisition Corp. developing together. But the social network faced cyberattack before it even started. The Washington Post wrote a noteworthy account on its testing website. One person took the username “donaldjtrump” and used a pig photo on their profile.

Donald Trump and his team recently announced the details of their new social media platform initiative. They have announced that they will launch Truth Social in early 2022. They also stated that beta testing will begin in November.
The team argued that Truth Social would fight “the Big Tech companies of Silicon Valley who use their power to silence opposing voices in the US.”
In addition, one person managed to get the username “mikepence”. Mike Pence was Trump’s aide. Following these developments, the test website was immediately shut down. After the incident, Donald Trump’s social media platform became the subject of ridicule.
Meanwhile, developer companies aim to release the app on the Apple App Store in November. The application will first go through the testing process with invited users. With the end of the beta process in the first quarter of 2022, anyone will be able to create a profile.
Based on the fake images in the App Store listing, we see on Truth Social that users can post “truths” similar to tweets. By the way, “truth” means “truth”. Also, this network will have a “re-truths” feature like retweets. There is also a news feed called ‘Truth Feed’ and a notification system.
