According to a report by The Block, Former US President Donald Trump’s request to lift the permanent Twitter ban was rejected by a federal judge. San Francisco federal District Judge James Donato concluded that the argument that the ban violated free speech was unconvincing because Twitter is a private company.
As it is known, Twitter had permanently banned Trump’s Twitter account “due to the risk of inciting violence” after his uprising in the US Capitol on January 6th. The court’s decision came after Trump said he would not return to Twitter, even if Elon Musk was lifted from his ban.
