Shiba Inu (SHIB) is one of the cryptocurrencies that smiles in terms of both value and popularity in 2021. However, the last months have not been very pleasant for SHIB. In particular, the number of SHIB’s on-chain transactions decreased by 40 percent in January. This shows that there has been a monthly decrease for the fourth time in a row.
According to data from bloxy.info, 278,942 transactions were recorded on SHIB in January 2022. When we look at December 2021, this number was at the level of 475,157 transactions. This means a decrease of 41.29% in the 2-month period.
When we compare January 2022 with November 2021, we see the main decrease. In November 2021, that number stood at 1,389,603. In other words, it was 4 times more than in January 2022.
Interest in SHIB seems to have been dwindling lately. According to Google’s statistics, the search volume for the phrase ‘Buy Shiba Inu coin’, that is, ‘buy Shiba Inu coin’, has lost 90 percent of its value. This value, which was 100 on October 29, 2021, decreased to 8 on January 29, 2022.
