Konami released a new trailer for the new game of Silent Hill series in Japan. The production, which was announced in 2022 and deals with the atmosphere of the series from a different perspective, will lead the players to Japan of the 1960s and a fictional town called Ebisugaoka.

Shizizu Hinako, who is located in the center of the story, starts as an ordinary young man and finds himself in a psychological and physical nightmare with his town underwent a terrible transformation under intense fog.

Konami stressed that Silent Hill F processes the theme of “terror in beauty”. Inspired by the basic elements of Japanese horror culture, this theme is based on the idea that the things that look perfect will become disturbing over time. The story of the game is written by the horror writer Ryukishi07, while deep psychological conflicts will be added to the classical sense of fear of the series.

The music of the production also has a special meaning for Silent Hill fans. While the unforgettable composer of the series, Akira Yamaoka composed the music that shaped the foggy atmosphere of the town, while Kensuke Uage prepared special music for the “Dark Temple” sections of the game.

The town of Ebisugaoka, where the game passes, was inspired by the Kanayama region in Japan’s Gifu Prefektor. Silent Hill F aims to create a new experience of fear by offering a different atmosphere from the classic Silent Hill town.

For Silent Hill F, a clear release date has not yet been shared. However, the game will come to the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC platforms.
