We said 2 or 3 routers, but now we have only 1 of this device. Yes, Deco X20-DSL is included as a single device in this package, so if you want to buy a really powerful modem – router, you should choose it. However, if you say that I will install a mesh system, I will transfer the WiFi to other rooms or to the lower or upper floor without performance degradation, then you will go for 2-pack and 3-pack. While there is 1 main modem router in 2-packs and 3-packs, there is also Deco X20 router. Thus, you place this device in the center where you will distribute the internet, and then line up other X20 routers in the areas you want to extend. At the end of this process, the entire home or office is already covered with WiFi over the mesh protocol. Thus, you get the same WiFi performance at the other end of the WiFi connection.

Deco X20-DSL is a VDSL2 supported device. It has Wi-Fi 6 support and of course also shows IPv6 compatibility. Deco X20-DSL, which has the capacity to reach theoretical speeds of 574 Mbps in the 2.4GHz frequency band and 1200 Mbps in the 5GHz frequency band, will of course perform as well as your internet infrastructure at the end of the day. When the internet I use at home is limited to 100 Mbps, I saw 100 Mbps at the maximum point from this device, which I say is a good thing. So you will be able to get maximum performance.
On the other hand, even if you use this device alone, we can say that the WiFi range is quite wide. There is a corridor of about 10 meters in my house and the modem is installed in the back room. Under normal conditions, I also use a separate mesh system, but I can say that I get a similar performance with this device alone. I was able to receive a WiFi signal from the back room where I installed the modem to the living room. But of course, for full performance, if I buy this device, I prefer the 2-pack package containing Deco X20-DSL and 1 X20 router, so that I can get maximum performance at both ends.
