Can drive hydrogen mainstreaming
Toyota and its subsidiary, Woven Planet, aim to accelerate and simplify the production, transportation and daily use of hydrogen by creating a comprehensive hydrogen-based supply chain. In this regard, the company introduced a working prototype of a portable hydrogen cartridge.
400mm long and 180mm in diameter, the prototype weighs 5kg. Toyota says a hydrogen cartridge can generate enough electricity to power a typical household microwave oven for about 3-4 hours.
