International research company Counterpoint has published the results of its smartphone market research for the third quarter of 2022. The published figures reveal that there is a serious contraction in the smartphone industry. To be frank, the past three months have only one winner; it’s Apple.
According to the research, smartphone sales amounted to 301 million in the last three months. This figure is 12 percent lower than the same period last year. Let’s take a closer look at how many smartphones each brand sold this quarter.
According to the results of the 3rd quarter of 2022, the best-selling smartphone brands are as follows:

Apple, which sold 48 million units in the third quarter of 2021, sold 48.8 million units in the third quarter of 2022. Sales figures for brands such as Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo fell.

Although Apple increased its sales in the third quarter of 2022, when we look at the year 2022 in general, we encounter different results.
