What is the latest situation in the market?
So, how is the cryptocurrency market moving in the meantime? BTC stays above $23,000 despite failing to surpass $23,500 once again in the last 24 hours. Altcoins are pretty quiet today as only Litecoin stands out as a notable gain. The largest cryptocurrency spent most of the week in the $22,000 to $23,000 range, except for a few brief price spikes. Most notably, the asset has hit $23,800, its new highest price point since September.
However, every attempt was quickly stopped by the bears, and they did not allow new local highs. Next came the US GDP data and PCE figures, but as we reported on Cryptokoin.com, they did not bring any significant volatility. Therefore, BTC entered the weekend just under $23,000. As of now, it is trading above $23,300.
