Lara Croft, the second most popular gravedigger in the history of the game with Nathan Drake, has previously appeared on the big screen as a movie with many of her plays and even two different adaptations. It has been revealed that Tomb Raider, whose films have received above-average acclaim, can now be adapted to the series.
According to THR’s report, Amazon has started shooting for a Tomb Raider adaptation series written and produced by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, the writer of the popular TV series Fleabag. And it’s not just that.

Allegedly, Amazon is also planning to make a new Tomb Raider movie and at least one additional video game, hoping to create an interconnected universe similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Amazon has not yet responded to these claims.
Not much is known about new projects, including who will play the role of Lara Croft, previously played by Angelina Jolie and most recently Alicia Vikander.
