The popular PlayStation exclusive (at least for now) game series Uncharted will meet us with a cinematic adaptation in the coming days. As you know, the film stars Mark Wahlberg and Tom Holland, whom we know as Spider-Man. Surprisingly (!) Fortnite collaborated to promote the movie, which will be released on February 18.
3 characters we know from the Uncharted series will come to Fortnite. You will be able to play Nathan Drake, played by Tom Holland from the movie, the original Nathan Drake we know from the Uncharted games himself, and Chloe Frazer, who we know from the game series and will also be in the movie, with brand new game modes in Fortnite.
‘Uncharted treasure map’ mode will be coming to the game
A few days ago, some players first came across Fortnite’s codes. Found and leaked the ‘Uncharted treasure map’ game mode. After this incident, Epic Games started promoting the ‘treasure hunt’ on a website late last Friday with a puzzle.
On this treasure hunt website, players had to decipher a 14-character password. YouTube Fortnite content producers quickly deciphered the ‘sicparvismagna’ password, and the link that appeared after this password led to the video you can watch above.
We’ve only seen wearables in the trailer so far, but there will likely be additional cosmetics as part of this collaboration. Epic Games states that Uncharted items will be available for purchase in Fortnite’s item store on February 17, just before the release of the Uncharted movie.
