In an interview with crypto journalist Laura Shin, Emmer made harsh statements about SEC Chair Gensler. Emmer underlined Gensler’s open door policy, saying that this is a door that can be entered at your own risk.
Speaking about the Wells Statement sent by the SEC to Coinbase, Emmer said that Coinbase was “slapped” by the SEC, even though there were no results from the meetings.
According to the crypto dude, Coinbase has actively worked with the agency, receiving compliance feedback. However, Gensler did not hesitate to fall on Coinbase despite all these notifications.
