The leading meme coin Dogecoin was the biggest loser in the top 10. It fell 2.2 percent to $0.06, Cardano slumped 1.1 percent to $0.43, and Solana fell 0.2 percent to $34.07, little change.
XRP rose 2% to $0.49 after Ripple Labs Inc., powered by payments network XRP, was listed as one of the world’s most promising Fintech companies in the CB Insights Fintech 250 for 2022. XRP prices are affected by the lawsuit filed by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against Ripple.
US stocks were little changed on Wednesday. The Dow Jones fell 0.1 percent, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq fell 0.2 percent.
