With the changing and developing technology, most of us have become dependent on our phones and social media. Or at least we like to hang out. On platforms like TikTok and Instagram, it is often quite fun to scroll down and enter an endless loop of entertaining videos.

Some of them can earn quite high numbers from these videos we watch. TikTok is one of these platforms and shared a new news that will delight its content producers. Announcing that they will switch to a similar strategy to their YouTube content, the company plans to increase the amount that content producers earn.

A new feature called ‘TikTok Pulse’ was mentioned in a blog published by TikTok today, where brands can advertise specific to ‘top videos’

. With this feature, brands advertising on TikTok will be able to make their ads appear in ‘top videos’. That is, brands will be able to advertise videos that are in the top 4% of TikTok.

So how will this affect the revenues of creators? Namely; If the videos of the content producers are among the best videos, a part of the revenues of the ad they are published with will be transferred to the content producers. According to the first information, accounts with at least 100 thousand followers will be able to benefit from this feature. The feature is planned to be rolled out first in the United States and then rolled out around the world.

For now, TikTok has not given much detail about this new feature, other than what we explained above. Despite having a fairly high number of users, the amount that content producers earned from the platform was slightly less than Instagram and YouTube. TikTok, which plans to close this gap with the new feature, seems determined to increase the number of content producers within its body.
