TikTok is going through a busy schedule to add new features. The company announced changes to its recommendation algorithm. Not only that, it introduces a number of editing features that it hopes will improve the look of videos.
The biggest feature that will come to TikTok is currently 1080p upload support. Now you can share videos in this resolution by turning on the HD upload setting from the ‘More options’ section on the video publishing page.
TikTok plans to improve the display of the video
The app offers an easy way to improve the overall look of a video. With the Visual Enhancement button coming new to the platform, TikTok said it will improve exposure, low light and color editing features with a single tap.

After recording or uploading a video, you can tap the Enhance button on the right panel. If you don’t like the changes, tapping the button again will undo them.
Different sound effects are coming
The Green Screen effect now includes Giphy integration. So you can use a GIF from that platform’s library as the background for a video. More musical and animal sound effects are included at this point. TikTok can adjust your voice or other sounds similar to a cat’s meow or flute. For these, you can try them out by tapping the Sound Effect button on the Editing page.
