As the NFT market slows down in mid-2022, entrepreneurs and companies are looking for new NFT (Non-fungible Token) uses beyond collectibles. Ticketmaster, which provides convenience to its users with the existing NFT ticketing technology, wants to expand its field of activity.

Ticketmaster, one of the leading ticket companies in the United States, revealed its intention to expand its NFT-based projects with the job posting it opened on its social media account.

Ticketmaster Wants to Unlock NFT Potential

Offering ticketing services for NFTs that have become the center of attention, Ticketmaster is on a quest to discover new revenue streams. Wanting to uncover a potential area in the shrinking NFT market, Ticketmaster’s goal is to develop new products and features.

In the job posting that Ticketmaster posted on LinkedIn, he stated that the company is looking for someone who can make Nun-fongible Token-based enterprise products available in all content categories, including sports and music. The reason for opening the position in the job posting is to introduce new products and features that meet the future needs of the NFT business.

A study by Deloitte in May 2022 also highlighted the potential of the crypto ecosystem to expand into new markets with the sports industry:

“We may see a reorganization of the sales process of season tickets, custom areas, and tickets.”
