Samsung continues to update its software developed for smartphones and share it with its users. In the past months, the company has released One UI 4, developed on the Android 12 operating system, for some flagship devices. Then it launched the S22 series with One UI 4.1. This week, it announced that it will also share it for the relatively older S, A and Note series. Now it has offered 3 more models.
Samsung Galaxy S21, Z Fold3 and Flip3 receive One UI 4.1
Samsung updates One UI 4.1 for Galaxy Z Fold3 and Flip3 with CVC5 firmware and March 2022 security patch in South Korea made available in . In addition to the new features it offers, the shared update also fixes bugs in Immersive mode that hides the status and navigation bar.
Those who got the latest version of another One UI were Canadian Samsung Galaxy S21 series users on Rogers, Telus and Sasktel networks with CVBA firmware support. Therefore, we can say that the updates shared for now are only for South Korea and Canada. However, the company says that it will soon share it for the whole world.
Overall, One UI 4.1, Live Sharing on Google Duo, Object Eraser feature added with the option to remove shadows and reflections, Grammarly integration on the Galaxy keyboard, and a few new cameras such as Night Portrait and telephoto portrait that we’ve already seen on the Galaxy S22 series offers feature.
How to install One UI 4.1 update?
- Go to Settings on your phone.
- Click on Software update below.
- Click Download and Install.
- If an update is available, it will appear here. Click Download.
- If you don’t have enough charge, connect your device to charge via cable.
- Then click the Install button when the download is complete.
- Your device will perform the installation and reboot.
