Owners of large wallets called “Whales” are constantly on the social media agenda with their altcoin purchases. Blockchain trackers have found that three big whales have recently bought a massive amount of Shiba Inu (SHIB).
According to Etherscan data, a cryptocurrency whale bought 4.2 trillion SHIBs about 5 days ahead. The big wallet moved the joke-themed altcoin to other addresses in different amounts after a while.
Crypto followers revealed that 2 other whale addresses bought and moved similar amounts of coins to other places.
The researchers found that the wallets in question were indirectly linked to the Coinbase exchange. This situation leads to comments that the transactions in question may have been instrumental in the exchange’s routine transfer tests rather than an investment.
