Sandbox (SAND) has officially launched a collaboration with Mauer to raise $2 million for residents of Ukraine affected by the Russian invasion of the country. The impact of the announcement on the metaverse coin price was over 10%.

In a recent statement, Sandbox, a virtual gaming environment where users can create, control and sell gaming experiences in the metaverse, announced its collaboration with Mauer. The message published included the following statements:

To help Mauer’s $2 million fundraising effort for Ukrainians, Sandbox plans to sell 10,000 copies of Wave for Ukraine, the Ukrainian flag NFT. The NFT will consist of a flagpole with a base, as seen above, and a waving Ukrainian flag. It stands at a height of 25 meters in the game and the flag stretches for about 8 meters. The price per NFT is set at $100.
Flags are currently available for purchase on the MAUER website. With the simple payment method provided on MAUER’s website, flags can be made using both cards and crypto. To ensure that the contributions have the greatest impact, all proceeds from this sale will be donated to the approved charity by MAUER’s Ukrainian employees.
Wave NFT will be launched in April
At the end of April, any wallet that purchases the original NFT on the MAUER website will be able to earn Wave with Ukraine NFT. Surprisingly, the country has expressed interest in issuing NFTs to support the cause.
According to the information we got from MAUER’s website asKriptokoin.com, the special statue was made by Felipe Posada openly to help the Ukrainian people. Up to 43,287,512 prints will be produced, one for each Ukrainian citizen. All profits will be donated to Ukrainian organizations. On the sale of the product, 10% royalties will also be donated to the charity.
