Queen Before Elizabeth’s funeral, which was held today, the queue to see her coffin waiting at Westminster Palace was so large that it could even be seen from space. This huge queue, where people waited for mourning for up to 24 hours, was about 16 kilometers at its longest.

When the Queen’s heavy lead coffin arrived at Westminster Abbey for her state burial, and King III. As Charles prepared to sit on the “Stone of Destiny,” the queue finally dissipated. One of the last two people allowed to pay their respects described the experience as “the best thing I’ve ever done in my life, even from having my kids Lily and Luca.”
